VR korvaa Porin ja Tampereen välillä liikennöivät vanhat siniset junavaunut InterCity-kalustolla 29. maaliskuuta. Uudistuksen myötä osassa junia on ensimmäistä kertaa mukana ravintolavaunuja. Myös junamatkojen hintoihin tulee uusia edullisia vaihtoehtoja. Lisäksi Helsingin ja Porin välille tulee uusi suora yhteys.
